Lucky Day (2019) is an action-crime thriller movie directed by Roger Avary (who also helped write Pulp Fiction).

 Basic Plot (no big spoilers)

The movie follows Red, a safe-cracker who is released from prison and tries to live a normal life with his family. But his past catches up with him when a revenge-obsessed hitman named Luc starts hunting him down.
Luc believes Red is responsible for his brother’s death during a robbery, so he wants to kill Red and his family.

The film becomes a fast-paced chase with gunfights, crime, and dark humor as Red tries to protect his loved ones and escape his violent past.
